Norsk Investor Relations Forening

The Norwegian Investor Relations Association (NIRA) was set up in the autumn of 1995 by 13 listed companies. The aim of the Association is to build up a professional investor relations environment and awareness among companies listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. NIRA seeks to increase cooperation across national borders by working with similar organisations in other countries as well as Global IR Network (GIRN), the international investor relations network. NIRA also works actively to strengthen ties between the Nordic investor relations associations and organises official activities and access to knowledge databases in the Nordic region. The Association arranges member meetings where IR-related topics are presented and discussed. NIRA further aims to strengthen networks among IR-professionals.
